Finding The Way is a Heritage Lottery funded Milepost restoration project along the former Stratford-upon-Avon to Long Compton Turnpike. We had the privilege of being involved with this project from extraction of the old mileposts and re-installation of the restored posts (restoration by Leander Architectural based in Dove Holes, Buxton). The cost of the works was c£35,000. Below are images of the restored milepost markers along with a photograph of one of the original mileposts back in c1913.
