Revamp for Birmingham New Street Station

For decades, disembarking at New Street railway station could be likened to stepping into a dimly-lit concrete box.  Now, the Birmingham city centre station has undergone a £600m metamorphosis as part of a wider £750m revamp of the area. Working with a Perimeter Protection Specialist, RM was awarded an order to install 20 Counter Terror (CT) PAS 68 blocks designed to stop vehicle based attacks outside of the station.  The CT blocks were topped with anti-skater studs, for a high quality, anti-vandalism finish.
